What is the difference between manual and voice mode?

Manual mode scrolls on a timer; voice mode scrolls when you speak. Manual moves the script upward at a constant rate in pixels per second. At the default 60 px/s a large 52 px line clears the reading line in about one second, near a 150 word-per-minute delivery, and the up and down arrows change speed in steps of 5 without stopping.

Voice mode uses the browser Web Speech API. As you speak, the tool normalizes each recognized word and matches it against your script with prefix and edit-distance comparison, so a small misread still tracks. It ignores short words and bare numbers, and only jumps to a repeated word when nearby words also match, keeping the position moving forward.
